It touches everything—your mental clarity, your physical wellbeing, your emotional balance, even your financial security. In the middle of so much upheaval, it’s easy to feel like your emotions are steering the ship instead of you. But here’s what I want you to know: you don’t have to move through this alone, and you don’t have to stay stuck in the storm. Working with a mentor and guide during this time gives you a way to process what you’re feeling, reclaim a sense of control, and begin rebuilding on solid ground. Together, we’ll explore the shifts you can expect after divorce, the powerful tools available to help you cope, and five practical ways to stay grounded and calm as you navigate the changes ahead. Guided support isn’t just about surviving the transition—it’s about protecting your emotional and mental health so you can move forward with strength. And this kind of support matters for everyone in the family. Adults and children alike carry the weight of these changes, and having someone to help you manage that toll can make all the difference in your overall health, wellness, and sense of self. This is your invitation to feel grounded, clear, and hopeful again.

Tips to Stay Calm

It may be challenging to understand and accept difficult feelings and emotions during divorce and divorce counseling.
But there are things you can do to make the best of your situation. Here are five tips to stay calm during the process of divorce counseling.

1

The Reset Moment

Put one had on your belly button and the other hand over your heart. Take several deep breaths and saying “Open Please” with each one. Continue this for a couple of minutes. This will calm your nervous system and as you racing mind slows down you will have some more clarity in your thoughts and feelings.

2

Use the Tools

You’ll be gently guided through EFT (Tapping) sessions designed to calm your nervous system and bring your whole self back into balance. Along the way, you’ll also learn other supportive methods—practical, proven tools chosen with care for your education and wellbeing.

3

Remember the End Result

During the mentoring process and training you have the clarity and strength to make good choices for your life now and in the future.

4

Stay Active

With a calmer mind and body, you will find it more enjoyable to take part in fitness classes or other physical activities.

5

Give Yourself Time and Grace

Healing rarely happens by accident. It unfolds through intention—through proven methods, thoughtful application, and the quiet, steady work of showing up for yourself. There’s a reason we don’t leave transformation to chance. When you follow a system that works—one built on real education and time-tested methods—you give yourself something powerful: a clear path forward, and the confidence that comes from knowing you’re not just hoping for change, but actively creating it.

These five tips can help you stay calm during divorce counseling.
This can help you navigate this challenging situation and come out on the other side healthy and ready to move on with your life.
